- Fitness Tracking
- Media and Storage
- Snapdragon 4100 vs 3100
- Battery Life
Ticwatch Pro 3 has a durable design just like the previous Ticwatch Pro, Pro 4G, and Pro 2020 smartwatches. It has a case made of stainless steel in combination with a plastic back while the bezel is made of stainless steel. The 22mm interchangeable straps have an interesting design made of solid silicone. Weighing 41.9 grams, Ticwatch Pro 3 is lightweight and with 12.2mm thickness size, its sleek and comfortable wear.
Like its predecessor, Ticwatch Pro has a dual FSTN and AMOLED 1.4 inches display mode. The FSTN display handles the watch only mode and can be read outdoors, while the AMOLED display handles the smartwatch mode, it’s more colorful and vivid. There are over 1000 watch faces to choose from. Ticwatch Pro 3 is available in shadow black color.
Ticwatch Pro 3 comes with lots of fitness tracking features, it tracks the basics like steps, distance, calories, heart rate with 10 preloaded sport modes. Mobvoi has added TicOxygen SpO2 tracking which can help you measure blood oxygen levels. There’s also TicZen that monitors stress, TicBreathe that can help you relax through a guided breathing session, and TicHearing app that can help protect your hearing but lacks ambient noise detection.
Ticwatch Pro 3 comes with 8GB storage capacity that will allow you to take more of your favorite tracks with you. It has a 1GB RAM storage which alongside the 4100 chip offers better performance than any other Ticwatch smartwatches.
It also has a microphone and loudspeaker that allows you to make and receive calls once the smartwatch is connected to your phone.
Beyond the fitness tracking and media features, Ticwatch Pro 3 like most smartwatches will alert you when you receive a notification on your phone. You need to set it up with the Mobvoi app to enable notifications and all. There is Google Pay which allows you to make a payment from the watch with your debit card.
Unlike previous Ticwatch smartwatches that run on an outdated Snapdragon 2100 chip with a 28nm process and slow 1.2GHz, Ticwatch Pro 3 is powered by Snapdragon 4100 chip that has a 12nm process and 1.7GHz which is a big improvement. This alongside a 1GB RAM storage will offer better performance except for slight glitches when loading apps just as confirmed by a user.
Ticwatch Pro 3 has a 577mAh battery capacity and 590mAh is nominal. According to Mobvoi, it can last up to 3 days in smartwatch mode and about 45 days in watch-only mode.
