Ticwatch C2 vs Mi band 3 vs Fitbit Charge 3 Features Compared
- Water Resistance
- Operating system
Ticwatch C2 comes in a classic design, whereas the Charge 3 and Mi band 3 both have a sporty design that makes the two more suitable as a fitness/sport wear.
The Ticwatch C2 casing is made of stainless steel while Mi band 3 is covered with a polycarbonate material, and the Charge 3 casing is made of aluminum contributing to it's lightweight.
Although, the Mi Band 3 has the least weight amongst the three, you will barely notice you are putting it on. Further making the Band 3 and Charge 3 more comfortable wear for sport activities.
Ticwatch C2 has an inbuilt GPS, meaning easier tracking of outdoor activities. In addition there Wi-Fi and an NFC chip.
Whereas Mi band 3 does not have GPS built-in, although comes with a higher version of Bluetooth meaning faster connections and NFC chip that supports Alipay.
Fitbit Charge 3 has NFC in the special edition and relies on a connected GPS for outdoor activity tracking.
Fitbit charge 3 is rated 5ATM while Ticwatch C2 Is rated IP68 and Mi Band 3 rated IP67. As such Fitbit charge 3 is the best choice when it comes to tracking your swimming activities, while the latter two are water-proof but only up to 1.5 meters deep in water.
Mi band 3 has the longest battery life, perhaps due to its fewer features, Fitbit charge 3 comes second in terms of long battery life while Ticwatch C2 comes third, this can be attributed to the Qualcomm snapdragon 2100 chip which is considered outdated and takes its toll on the battery thereby reducing it's efficiency.
However give and take, the C2 battery on average usage can go a full day or more.
Ticwatch C2 has an edge over Mi band 3 and Fitbit charge 3 when it comes to media features, it comes with about 4GB internal storage space for onboard music storage. An interesting feature that lets you listen to your favorite tracks while on the go.
Another major difference, is that the C2 has a loudspeaker and microphone built-in, interesting features that allow you to play media files directly from the device and also use the microphone feature to answer calls or perhaps issue voice commands via the much improved Google assistant
Both Mi band 3 and Fitbit charge 3 run on their respective proprietary OS, whereas Ticwatch C2 runs on Google wear OS 2.1 which got redesign off recent and has some quiet new features you will find very helpful, like the new notification stream that lets you see more notifications at a glance.
Which is the Best?
All of these three smartwatches offer great value for your money, however Ticwatch C2 has more features and as such is a more comprehensive smartwatch with both smartwatch and fitness functions. The C2 will be suitable for casual, official and even sporty events.
Mi band 3 and Fitbit charge 3 are best suitable for sporty events, Charge 3 will also look great for casual and official outings, but if you want a cheap fitness tracker with long battery life that lets you track your active life then Mi band 3 is a great choice.
Although, Charge 3 is a more comprehensive fitness tracker, going by the fact that it is rated 5ATM which enables it to track your swimming activities.
The only downside to this that there is no GPS, however, you can connect to a nearby phone GPS sensor.
