The Suunto 7 has a remarkable design, it’s a very sturdy and stylish design. The glass fiber reinforced polyamide case and 22mm silicone straps leave it with a sturdy and relatively lightweight design.
Although, it’s quite bulky at 50mm and thick at 15.3mm. The 1.4 inch AMOLED display is very pleasing and fascinating to watch. It has touchscreen support, unlike other Suunto smartwatches. Moreover, you now have access to more watch faces from both Suunto and hundreds of others on the Playstore to customize the look of the watch.

The Suunto 7 lacks a loudspeaker but is equipped with a microphone that supports voice commands on this device. You can use your voice to carry out a slew of tasks via Google Assistant.

The Suunto 7 being a Wear OS smartwatch has lots of benefits which includes being smarter and access to more apps, but it falls behind other watches from the brand in terms of battery life, it has relatively shorter battery life. Although still quite impressive, thanks to the 3100 chip, and the Suunto 7 is the first watch to support the “sport mode” feature which will elongate its battery life with activity tracking by transferring the bulk of the load to the nano-size co-processor.
The Suunto 7 has been tested to last over a day with smartwatch watch mode and 12 hours with continuous GPS tracking.
