The Galaxy Watch 4 Classic comes in two sizes; 42mm and 46mm and each of these sizes is available in Bluetooth/WiFi and LTE. The difference is that the LTE model is a standalone smartwatch that can make and receive calls as well as can receive messages and stream music independent of a smartphone. The Bluetooth model can do all these, but it will require your phone.
Moreover, The LTE model will cost you more. The 42mm of the Bluetooth model will cost you $349.99 while the 46mm cost $379.99. Meanwhile, the 42mm LTE version is priced at $399.99, while the 46mm LTE version will cost you $429.99.
Choose the Right LTE Model for Your Region Before Buying
Before you choose to buy the LTE model, ensure that you confirm the model and carriers supported in your country. There are four models of the LTE. The 46mm is available in SM-895U, SM-895F, SM-895N, and SM-895, while the 42mm is available in SM-885U, SM-885F, SM-885U & SM-885. For instance, SM-895U and SM-885U are the supported models in the US.

The 42mm of Galaxy Watch 4 Classic comes with a 247mAh battery capacity, while the 46mm size comes with a 347mAh capacity. It’s the same battery capacity for the LTE models. You should expect a lower battery life with the LTE model. However, when LTE is turned off, it’s probably the same up to 2 days battery life as the Bluetooth model.
Bluetooth or LTE – Which Should You Buy?
Most people will go for the Bluetooth model, it’s cheaper and you don’t have to go through the hassle of setting up LTE. So, the Bluetooth model is a great choice.
On the flip side, the LTE model is a more comprehensive smartwatch. It’s a standalone smartwatch that allows you to do certain things like making and receiving calls independent of your phone. You will also be able to receive messages and stream music independent of your phone. Thus, the LTE model gives you additional freedom. However, it will cost a little more.
