- Notifications & Application
Misfit vapor comes with an outstanding design that makes it look both stylish and elegant. It features a 1.3 inch screen size with a rich display that is powered by AMOLED always-on display which is visible even under intense sunlight.
The body is built with durable material, stainless steel for the casing and a 20mm silicone strap which are interchangeable. The watch faces are also customizable; you can choose from the numerous watch faces available on the app store as well as preinstalled ones.
The Misfit vapor has quiet a great battery life. It comes with a 400mAh battery capacity which on standby it can last up to 2-3 days on average while on mixed/average usage will reduce the battery life to just over a day which lets you go longer on a single charge.
There is a 4GB internal storage space that comes with the Misfit vapor. With this, you can store over 300 of your favorite tracks. An interesting feature that lets you listen to music on the go thus giving your phone some breathing space. You can listen to media files stored on the device via a Bluetooth enabled earbud.
The Misfit vapor is a great choice for tracking swimming activities. It is rated 5ATM which means it is water-resistant up to 50 meters. This lets you track your swimming events easily and if you caught up in the rain, that won’t be a problem either. So its recommended to wear Misfit vapor to the pool or ocean. However, do not subject it to intense pressure such as diving from great heights as this may damage the device.
The Misfit vapor might not be the perfect choice for fitness tracking, but it will serve well for tracking both indoor and outdoor activities. It comes with HRM that lets you track your heart rate variations plus other sensors such as accelerometer, gyroscope and an altimeter that lets you track steps, distance and hiking activities. However there is no GPS navigational sensor, GPS functions can be achieved by connecting to a nearby GPS.
Misfit Vapor is a perfect companion that keeps you updated with notifications from your phone. The Vapor notifies you when there is a new notification on your phone such as;
There is a microphone built into the vapor which lets you answer calls directly from your wrist without having to always bring out your phone to answer calls. Beside that you can use the inbuilt microphone to access Google voice assistant.
There is no NFC chip in the Misfit vapor, as such no support for any payment system.
