LG Urbane 2nd Edition (W200) is the first standalone Android wear from LG that has support for cellular connectivity. The Urbane 2 has an intuitive and sophisticated sporty design plus a huge list of features. It was released in April, 2016, runs on Google Wear 2.0 and powered by Snapdragon 2100.

The LG Urbane 2 has a sophisticated sporty design that makes it look bold and elegant on the wrist. The Urbane 2 is suitable to wear for men based on its bold design, but that doesn’t mean women won’t find it a great choice. The Urbane 2 measures 1.38 inches in screen size and its display has something to cheer about. It has a very rich display that is powered by P-OLED. Besides that, the Urbane 2 is touchscreen and has an additional three buttons by the side that lets you effortlessly navigate the 1.38 inch interface. The Urbane 2 comes with 22 preinstalled watch faces to choose from. This lets you define your style.
The Urbane 2 is built with durable materials inside out, the casing is made of high-grade 316L stainless steel material while the 22mm strap is made of silicone which gives it the sporty look. However, you can change the straps.
The LG Urbane 2 has a quite impressive battery life notwithstanding all the numerous capabilities built into the watch. On-standby the Urbane 2 has a standby battery life of about 2-3 days on average while on mixed usage the battery life reduces even further to about 15-20 hours of battery life. One good thing is that the Urbane 2 takes approximately 1 hour 30 minutes to charge a fully depleted battery.

This lets you store your favorite tracks or even stream music from the Google play app. These features become handy when you need to entertain yourself on the go. Worthy to note is the 768MB huge RAM size that lets you do more in a shorter time. There is also a microphone built into the Urbane 2 which lets you use the voice command feature.
The LG Urbane 2 is certified IP67 which means it is water-resistant up to 1meter underwater. So it’s waterproof, you can wear it under the rain, to the shower but not to the pool. This is not the perfect smartwatch for tracking your swimming activities. When the Urbane 2 comes in contact with water you should dry it up with a clean soft clothing material.
The LG Urbane 2 is a great choice for tracking various fitness activities. The Urbane 2 has all the standard sensors built-in which lets you track your fitness level. There is a GPS built-in which lets you track outdoor activities such as location, routes you take and distance. Besides that, there is also HRM built-in that lets you track your heart rate variations.
You can access fitness tracking stats through Google Fit or via the LG Health app. There are also other sensors such as accelerometer, gyroscope, compass, and barometer which automatically detects movements of the body and is able to track a whole lot of activities which includes steps, distance, calories, and sleep.
The LG Urbane 2nd edition is a perfect companion when it comes to notifying you when there is a new notification on your phone. The smartwatch, when paired with a compatible smartphone, alerts you when there is a notification from native and third-party apps on your phone.
The Urbane 2 runs on Wear OS 2.0 which gives you access to your favorite apps. You can install your favorite apps directly on the watch. The good thing is the Urbane 2 is a standalone smartwatch that lets you make and receive calls directly from the watch without needing your phone. With the inbuilt microphone, you can access the voice command features which lets you utilize Google assistant. The Urbane 2 is compatible with android 4.3 or later and iOS 8.2 or later.
By just flicking your wrist the Urbane 2 scrolls, this might look awkward, but it is a gesture that you might find useful sometimes. There is NFC built into the Urbane 2 which supports Google pay a contactless payment system that lets you load your credit cards into the watch and make payments on the go.
