Lenovo watch X plus has an outstanding and fascinating design, the case features a top-grade 316L stainless steel material and Milanese braided straps which are interchangeable. The screen is protected with sapphire crystal glass which is one of the strongest glass materials used on most smartwatches and other gadgets. The mechanical hands are coated with an illuminating material which makes the dials illuminate in the dark. So you can actually see the time even when the OLED backlight turns off.
The Watch X Plus has a screen size of 1.5 inches and a thickness size of 12.2mm which is quite slim and still on par compared to other smartwatches. The display is OLED which is monochromic and quiet visible under sunlight. By the side is a single button for navigating the interface. The watch x Plus has roman numerals calibrated on the bezel which adds to the elegant appearance.
Lenovo Watch X Plus Battery Life
The Lenovo Watch X Plus has an impressive battery life, Lenovo says it’s up to 45 days from a single charge on standby, but we have seen real users say its 8 days on average. It uses a non-removable lithium-polymer battery with a high 600mAh capacity which on standby it’s about 20 days or more while on regular usage you should expect a battery life of about 2 – 5 days. Above 2 days of battery life is actually great.
The Lenovo Watch X Plus is rated 8ATM meaning it will survive a submerge underwater up to 80 meters. Quite impressive considering that most modern smartwatches are certified 5ATM. So you can wear this under the rain, to shower and if you are an avid swimmer who likes to track his/her swimming activities, of course, the Lenovo Watch X Plus will be a great choice.
Lenovo watch x Plus will serve just fine for fitness tracking. Inbuilt, it has a pedometer which accounts for better accurate steps count. Also, there is a gyroscope that tracks distance, sleeps quality and sedentary moments plus it is capable of reminding you to take a walk, thus helping you stay fit.
Under the Lenovo watch, X Plus is an optical heart rate sensor that is able to record pulse movements beneath the skin allowing you to monitor your heart rate variations. A very crucial factor found in many modern smartwatches that helps you stay fit by knowing your body better. The Lenovo Watch X Plus surprisingly comes with a thermometer that helps take your body temperature. A very nice feature that lets you monitor changes in body temperature.
Unfortunately, the Lenovo watch x Plus lacks inbuilt GPS, however, you can still access GPS functions by connecting to a phone GPS. Through the Lenovo watch app, you can view all the recorded stats like heart rate, steps, and sleep patterns. Here is a summary of fitness tracking features the watch x Plus is capable of tracking;
The Lenovo watch x Plus makes a perfect companion for your phone when connected to a compatible phone. It lets you stay updated with emails, calls, messages and other notifications from your phone.
There is a LED light on the 12 hour mark on the Lenovo watch X Plus which blinks indicating that a successful connection has been made via the Bluetooth. Worthy to note is that, it has the latest Bluetooth version which results in faster connections.
