The GT 2 Pro is a premium smartwatch with a very sophisticated design that consists of a titanium case, ceramics covers the back, while the screen is covered with sapphire glass material. The straps measuring 22mm in width come in two materials; fluoroelastomer or leather. It retains the same display size of 1.39 inches as its predecessor which is still powered by AMOLED. The screen is touch-sensitive plus 2 physical buttons for easy navigation, and there are over 200 watch faces to choose from.
One of the new features on the GT 2 Pro is that it shows time in 4 phases; sunrise, sunset, moonrise, and moonset as well as 8 types of moon phases that can help you plan your outing better ahead.
The GT 2 Pro measures 46.7mm in width which is slightly bigger than its predecessor but quite sleek at 11.4mm. You can get the GT 2 Pro in two colors; black and nebula gray.
Just like its predecessor, the GT 2 Pro comes with 4GB storage capacity out of which about 2GB is available for use. It also has a microphone and loudspeaker which allows you to make and receive calls directly from the watch, but for this feature to work, the GT 2 Pro must be connected to phone Bluetooth. You can also play music files aloud.
In the fitness department, the GT 2 Pro welcomes new features such as skiing, snowboarding, and a personal golf coach. Beyond the new features, it tracks your heart rate more accurately with TruSeen 4.0 and tracks your sleep in four stages.
It has an inbuilt GPS that enables it to track your outdoor activities effectively, and with the new back to start navigation, you can easily find your way back when GPS is weak. Other fitness features are SpO2 blood oxygen measurement, calories, air pressure detection that can alert you of bad weather, and there are over 100 sport modes out of which 85 are custom and 17 professional sport modes and 10 running courses.
The GT 2 Pro syncs with compatible smartphones to keep you updated when you receive a notification on your phone. There is also the remote camera control feature, find my phone, etc.
Another fine feature introduced to the GT 2 Pro is wireless and fast charging technology that allows you to quickly power up the watch. Despite the new features, the GT 2 Pro still offers a long battery life of 14 days just like its predecessor which I think is very impressive.
The GT 2 Pro price starts at $391 for the sport band and $415 for the leather strap.
