Keeping the custom going, Honor Watch GS Pro has been released alongside Honor Watch ES which is an almost similar smartwatch to Huawei GT 2 Pro except for the change in the brand name. Honor Watch GS Pro Features Review
- Rugged and Durable Design
- A Comprehensive Fitness Tracker
- Music Storage and Bluetooth Calling
- 25 Days Long Battery Life
The GS Pro has a rugged and durable design with MIL-STD-810G certification that ensures it can go the extra mile. The case is made of stainless steel with a ceramics bezel, while the straps are made of silicone. Navigating the watch is though the two physical buttons by the side and touchscreen support that I believe makes operating this watch very easy.
The display measures 1.39 inches just like the Magic 2 and is powered by AMOLED which is very colorful, but not so easy to read under direct sunlight. There are many watch faces to choose from including animated watch faces.
The GS Pro is available in charcoal black, camo blue, and marl white.
New fitness tracking features have been introduced to the GS Pro which includes skiing where it measures your heart rate, calories, max. slope etc as well as snowboarding. Another new fitness tracking feature is the back to start – a navigation feature that can help you find your way back even when GPS signals are weak.
And with the introduction of different time phases which include; sunset, sunrise, moonset, and moonrise, the GS Pro can help you plan your journey ahead. Beyond these features, the GS Pro like other smartwatches from Huawei will track your heart rate indicating resting and maximum heart rate and your sleep in four stages. It also tracks calories burned after activity and there is also the SpO2 feature that can help you measure blood oxygen. Other features include menstrual cycle tracking, weather, and storm alerts with over 100 sport modes to choose from.
The GS Pro comes with 4GB storage capacity that allows you to store music on your Watch and as well as a microphone and loudspeaker that allows you to make and receive calls from the watch.
It also serves as a worthy companion for your phone, it syncs data from a compatible smartphone to the watch. Thus, it alerts you when you receive a notification on your phone.
The battery life of the GS Pro is very impressive, it offers a longer battery life than its predecessor as it lets you go up to 25 days with mixed usage and a whopping 100 hours with continuous GPS tracking.
