Fitbit Inspire vs Garmin Vivofit 4 Features Compared

The Differences

  • Design

  • Both smartbands have got very nice attributes that makes any of these two a befitting wearable that you’d probably forget that you’re wearing it.
However, the Fitbit Inspire no doubt has a better design that leaves it with a more stylish and elegant design than the Vivofit 4.

The Inspire also has a larger display size that ensures you can see more at a glance. And in addition, the OLED display offers a much more interactive display than the transflective memory-in-pixel LCD display of the Vivofit 4.

Although, the Vivofit 4 display is easier to read under sunlight compared to the Inspire, and is also slightly slimmer than the Inspire.

  • Fitness Tracking

  • These two qualify as basic and nice choices for tracking your active life. Each can track your steps, distance, sleep, calories, sedentary reminder plus a few other activities.

Although with the Inspire, there’s a female tracking feature that allows you to log your period which can help you manage and track changes in period cycle. This feature is not available on the Vivofit 4.

On the other hand, the Vivofit 4 comes with a toe-to-toe feature that lets it connect to a nearby Vivofit 4 or Vivofit JR 2 allowing for steps competition. An interesting feature that can make recreational times more fun.

  • Battery Life

As per battery life, these two offer impressive long battery life that lets you go long. However, while the Inspire uses a non-removable lithium polymer battery that last about five days on regular usage, the Vivofit 4 uses 2 x SR43 replaceable battery that last just over a year before needing a replacement.

Which is Better?

No doubt, any of these two would make a great choice as a basic fitness tracker that can help you manage your fitness goals.

However, based on the appearances, the Inspire has a more decent design that obviously makes it a more befitting wearable. Otherwise, it’s a stalemate.

Editor’s Pick

The Fitbit Inspire has a quiet stylish design that leaves it with a more decent appearance, while also being a nice fitness tracker. It’s our preferred choice.
