Amazfit Verge is a fantastic fitness smartwatch for the avid fitness minded folk. It is the latest addition to the Amazfit series of smartwatches and just like its predecessor it comes with quiet a whole lot of interesting features. It has a spectacular design and comes with 11 sport modes preloaded, an inbuilt GPS and a whooping 5 days long battery life. It is a perfect choice for both men and women.

Amazfit Verge comes in a very spectacular design with an interface that makes it easy to see more at a glance. It has a 1.3 inches AMOLED display that is both lively and interactive.
The display visibility under the sun is okay, you won’t have to stretch your eyes trying to view the interface. The watch is touchscreen and also supports multi-touch. It also has a single home button by the side for easily finding your way back to the home screen.
The Amazfit verge has a design that makes it a very suitable wear for sporty events. We couldn’t ascertain the exact material used for the body, but we can say from its appearance, it has a case made of thermoplastic and a silicone straps.
The straps are not interchangeable though, not such a great idea. However you can customize the watch face, there are tones of watch faces to choose from allowing you define your style.

Amazfit have successfully built a reputation around the Amazfit series of smartwatches, they all have long battery life. The Amazfit verge is no exception, it has a long battery life that exceed 4 days from a single charge on regular usage.
It uses a non-removable lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 390mAh. On standby, the battery life exceeds 10 days while with mixed usage, the battery life reduces to about 4-5 days. It is actually nice to see a smartwatch that lets you go longer on a single charge, you can be sure this will serve for even extreme workout sessions.

Amazfit Verge comes with 4GB ROM that lets you store your favorite files. About 2GB is available after system requirements. Although, there is no loudspeaker inbuilt, but it however has a microphone built-in which lets you answer incoming calls. There is the Xiao digital assistant that can take your voice command and answers it as well.

The Amazfit verge is rated IP68 meaning it is water resistant only up to 1.5 meters under water. It is safe for you to wear this to the shower or under the rain but not to the pool or ocean. This is not the perfect smartwatch for avid swimmers who wish to track their swimming activities.
Amazfit Verge: Activity/Fitness tracking
The Amazfit verge is a great choice for fitness tracking. It comes with all the standard sensors that you will find in most modern smartwatch. It has an optical heart rate sensor that automatically and accurately monitors your heart rate. It also features a multi navigational system, GPS/GLONASS which lets track outdoor activities such as location, distance and routes with ease.
In addition it comes with an accelerometer and gyroscope that lets you track about 11 different sport modes.

Amazfit Verge is a perfect companion for your phone, when connected to a compatible smartphone, it is able to keep you updated with all the latest notifications coming through on your phone. So you don’t get to miss incoming calls, emails, text messages and other notifications from both native and third-party apps on your phone.
Just like other Amazfit smartwatches, the Amazfit Verge runs on a proprietarily operating system. It is compatible with iOS 9.0 or later and Android 4.4 or later.
Inside Amazfit Verge is an NFC chip that supports Ali Pay, a contactless payment system that lets you load your credit/debit card details into the watch and be able to make payments on the go.
